Today, Monday June 17, DIRECTV is expected to start the phased roll-out of a new feature that gives existing and new unlimited cloud DVR customers who subscribe to DIRECTV via Internet or DIRECTV STREAM the ability to record as many episodes of their favorite series or as many games of their favorite sports teams as they want.
Current 20-hour cloud DVR customers will continue to have a 10-episode cap. There will be no change in the nine-month retention of recordings for all cloud DVR customers.
