Series Recording Is Not Working

My shows will not record. They are set to record, but will not actually record for future dates. I have to manually set up recordings daily. I have reset the box,unplugged tv and box, deleted the app and reinstalled it and nothing works. I have called Direct TV and have been on the phone for over two hours. No help. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thank you in advance!

All programs across many different channels. Example: NBC, ABC, Bravo, etc.

try going on to directvstream.com and try recording what shows you want through their website if you still cannot record your shows through the website then there is some issue with Directv stream on their end but if you can record then there is an issue with your box and they might need to send you a different one

I went to directvstream.com which took me to the app. The app is doing the same thing as the tv. I can record, but nothing is being scheduled. I have to go in daily and manually record what I want to watch that day.

Do you already have multiple recordings of the shows you are trying to record saved on your DVR if you do then it might be you have too many recordings of the same show because according to their website this is what they have to say!

  • Customers with 20 hours of Cloud DVR storage are allowed a maximum of 10 episodes per TV series.
  • Customers with Unlimited Cloud DVR storage are allowed a maximum of 30 episodes per TV series.

if you try to record more than their maximum that could be why they are not recording and you are having to go in and manually record your shows.

Thank you for your response. I have unlimited cloud DVR storage and I had already gone in and deleted any shows that had 30 episodes.

I’ve been having the same problem for several weeks. I stream through the box I purchased when it was still ATT TV, before it became Directv Stream.

I did the same. I have been working with an escalation team and it looks like the problem has been fixed. The problem was not with the box, but they haven’t been able to pinpoint what caused it.

I set multiple series to record new episodes only.  For the past 2 months all episodes are recording.  I reset my Direct TV stream box, I've unplugged and plugged back in.  I find myself deleting all the extra episodes.  Can anyone help?

I have the same problems I go to my sister manager and it says I have all my recording sets but it says you have zero in the future and when I check none of them has been set to record but yet they are set to record on my series manager I have no idea how to fix this I have to go through daily and hit record please help

do you have Dtv Satellite? Because Dtv Stream doesn't have a series manager
