Samsung TV won't respond to up/down arrow buttons
When I press the streaming remote's Input button the list of input sources on my Samsung TV (PN58B550) is displayed. However, it does not respond to the up/down arrow keys, so I can't change the source. The TV does respond to the On/Off/Volume buttons just fine.
The TV does also respond to the up/down arrow buttons on my old satellite DirecTV remote.

What DirecTV Stream device?
What remote control?

The Stream device is the Gemini Air.
The remote control is the Gemini Air remote.
I went through the 'reprogram your remote' procedure, FWIW, simply reselecting Samsung. No change in behavior.

Thanks for trying. Let's do a factory reset on your remote control.
Press and hold the Home and Exit keys simultaneously.
Then press 981.
The LEDs turn OFF and then blink blue 3 times on both sides.
Pair the remote control by pressing and holding Fast Forward and Rewind simultaneously and follow the onscreen messages.
When the remote control is paired, press the Home button and check if the Home screen is displayed.

I reset and re-paired the remote control as directed. There is no change in behavior.
The remote continues to correctly control the television's On/Off/Volume/Input.
But as noted in the original question, once the list of Input sources is displayed, pressing the Up/Down keys will not navigate through it. (Although those keypresses are processed by the Gemini user interface running "behind" the TV's input source list.)
