Repeated bugs w/ new update plus repeated "when network is heavily congested..."

Pretty much had it w/ DIRECTV.  App was updated overnight.  Repeated bugs.  (Had my modem replaced weeks ago, all issues w/ other TV apps - Prime, Max/HBO - and laptop internet connection totally solved.)  AT&T says internet connection is fine.  DIRECTV says that it's my internet connection although everything else is fine b/c "we're different."  I  have tried everything suggested online (uninstalling app/reinstalling), unplugging various devices, etc.  It is awful since DIRECTV was sold - now we're caught in the middle w/ both AT&T and DIRECTV each saying the issue is w/ the other company and zero help.  Stream has totally frozen and I have to go out of the app to do anything.  While watching a recorded program, I get the heavily congested msg and it goes back to the beginning of the program.  Ready to file an FCC complaint.

Let me guess - you are using the DirecTV proprietary streaming device, right?

I’m using the app.  Strangely, the TV in my bedroom didn’t update to the new software, just the TV in the den.

Rizza, there is no quick fix.  DirecTV says it’s an internet issue and AT&T says internet is fine.  So since you’re separate now, I guess you expect the customer to solve issues themselves.  I have spoken with DirecTV support twice. I am fed up with outsourced personnel who apparently don’t know what to do and are just reading a script.  Somehow you are happy to have customers pay but not fix issues.  No wonder you lost 1.8 million customers in 2024. Situations like mine are an opportunity to improve your ranked reputation but only if you care about customer satisfaction and have programmers and tech support who are capable.
