Regional sports fee

If you weren’t paying it before, you won’t have to pay it now. The regional sports fee is automatically added to customers who subscribe to the Choice package or above. Are you a DIRECTV STREAM or DIRECTV satellite subscriber? What caused you to believe that you were going to start paying the regional sports fee?

I’m a directv stream customer and I saw it on cord cutters news this morning.

I guess you are right, if you have choice package or above with DIRECTV STREAM, an RSN fee will be charged.

I have the ultimate package so it’s time to look for a different streaming platform

Hi, @Bob60. The Regional Sports fee applies to all programming packages that include regional sports networks. These packages are the CHOICE or above. This fee is not a tax or charge which the government requires DIRECTV to collect from its customers. The fee is stream customers that signed up to a 24 month agreement.
