Recording with an Amazon Firestick
I’m setting up DirecTV streaming for my grandmother using a fire stick (she does not have a smart tv) and I can’t seem to figure out how to record upcoming shows. I can record a show in progress but not upcoming. Can someone help please?

You should be able to go over to the program from the guide menu and then select the show you want to record in the guide then select the record option. Hope this helps.

The guide button brings me to a look-a-like directv channel list. If I click on a future program, the only option is to tune to that channel, no record program option. I can record an ongoing program by entering the show, clicking enter and then record, but if it’s a show that starts at 1pm tomorrow while I am I work, I will miss it.
