recorded shows in my library from MSNBC is glitchy with the fast forward

We record all our shows. Today we can't use the FF feature in MSNBC recordings in our DirectTV app. Every other channel we recorded works as normal, just not MSNBC. What gives? We've reset our router and the DirectTV box and it's still glitchy.
