Poblem with DirectTV login and Channel Lineup

This morning I turn my Samsung Smart TV on.  Purchased this summer.  It immediate tells me I need to login to DirectTV.  So I try.  My UserID is correct.  I enter the password and do not have the password hid so I can see it is correct.  Done.  it then tells me I have attempted too many times to login in.  Which is a lie.  But I try to login on my computer and of couse use the same UswerID and login.  Not poblem.  I am also able to see my DiectTV account.  Now I go back turn my TV back on - wonderfully odd no popup saying I need to login to DirectTV, however when I pick direct TV it now has all the channels in a different order.  CRAZY I am so over ATT and DirectTV.  I think it is time for a change.

What device are you using to display DirecTV (Smart TV app, Roku, Fire Stick or DirecTV device)?
Sounds like you are using the Samsung TV smart built in app, that could be your problem. It and several other smart TV apps do not work very good or are very buggy. I gave up on my Samsung app.

Always use an external streaming device. Those smart apps are notorious for being bad, especially the DirecTV app. 100's of posts with the Samsung app in the forum for years.
