Playback freezing
Very frequently when playing back recorded programs via my Roku, the playback freezes after thirty or forty minutes. Other than getting out of the Direct TV Stream app and starting over, which works, is there some way to prevent it from happening?

i am having the same issue. Happening on both ROKU devices and only on playback. Live streaming is without issue, bandwidth is ample and stable ( monitored by other devices on my network). Playback just stops at random. Could be 10 minutes of 55 minutes. The only fix is to go back to the event screen, select "start over", and then fast forward to the point at which it stopped. This is now happening on 1 out of every 3 recordings I play back.

Faster, though not less annoying, is to merely go to something else you’ve recorded, play it for a few seconds, then stop and return to the recording that froze. It will then play from where it left off. Not necessary to have to start over and fast forward from the beginning.
