Hello there. As long as your TV is HDMI compatible, you should be able to use the Gemini Air. However, you would have to use the Gemini Air remote with it. Thank you for contacting DIRECTV. Juan, DIRECTV Community Specialist

Your TV remote control won't be able to control the Gemini box. But the Gemini remote should be able to control volume and power on/off on the TV.
