picture quality
I have the Direct TV stream app on my iPhone and have Direct Gemini 1 for tv as well.
When I mirror using the Direct iPhone app to my Samsung Smart TV the picture quality is much better than when I use the Gemini dongle.
This makes absolutely no sense to me...can someone please tell me why this is happening and how can I get better quality picture using the Gemini dongle?

Thanks for your response.
I have tried all the above and the issue remains.
When I stream from my iPhone [even from the Direct TV Stream app] the picture quality [resolution and sharpness] on my Samsung is much, much better than when I use the Gemini Air.
I have AT&T Internet 100 with speeds up to 950Mbps

Supposedly some DMs are initiated due to directvhelp needing to get personal account info from the OP. Whether needed or not, the point is that I do agree, the solutions should be shared publicly. After all, this is a public forum.

I am a new Gemini Air user having switched from cable tv. I am very disappointed with the quality of the picture. I made the switch because of sports programming and am sorry I did. I have plenty of internet speed. What is the issue? I am stuck with a 2 year contract of bad tv.

Couldn’t agree more. My lost cable tv provider had exquisite 4K quality, 4K on my Gemini doesn’t look that great at all. Very disappointed, but need to ride it out for another 1.5 years. Ugh!!
