Picture problems streaming Netflix, Paramount+ and Max
While streaming select shows on Netflix, Paramount+ and Max, the picture is dark and without brightness, color and contrast. I have 2 Hisense TV purchased within the last year. Hisense does not have a fix and I am unable to get help from the streaming companies.

I have a Hisense 55inch Uled and use those same apps. Picture looks great. If you have HDR activated on your DirecTV stream device try turning it off

I also have a Hisense tv some of the Dtv codes are wonky. When you set your remote up in the settings section----remotes and devices ..program your remote.....choose your tv Hisense then on the next page choose "standard" The first time the test runs and it mutes your tv just say no ...,,when it askes if the volume was muted.. that way it moves on to the next code. (even if it works) Then say yes to the next one that works. If your remote still has an issue redo the steps above then choose no the first two times then say yes to 3rd time. That way you can see if different codes work for you.
By the way which method did you choose ? Standard or manual?

I don't want to get too excited, but that seemed to do it. Thanks a million. I bet you I spent about 3 hours on the phone at different times with DirectTv.
Maybe you can help me with this. When I press the volume button on my DIRECTV remote, the aspect ratio of the picture changes on my Hisense TV. When I press mute, the picture size changes from Auto to Zoom. No solution from DIRECTV.

I did the "lengthy" reset procedure. BTW, I have done it several times. Also, I have received replacement remotes (2) and replacement Gemini boxes (2) over the past several months. I have 2 Hisense TV's. Same problem on both TV's. HELP
