No internet connection
I am on box #4 and still screen says no internet connection, light is green, settings show network connected to gateway wifi also with att. Direct stream box disconnects from TV every nite at same time several times every nite. Will only reconnect if I get out of bed and reset the box. Have called 6 times and had 2 "escalation" events and all they know how to do is send me ANOTHER replacement box. I pay a lot of money AND have to do hours of THEIR technical support for free!! This is insanity at its most basic. Xfinity reviews anyone?

You mean to tell them that you had four different DIRECTV STREAM OSPREY boxes and they all had the same behavior? This would definitely be an issue with your Wi-Fi connection. Whether your provider happens to struggle every night or you have a poor internet connection, please try running a speed test of the upload and download speeds.
Some additional tips that may make a difference are connecting the DIRECTV STREAM box via Ethernet if possible or bringing the main router closer to the DIRECTV STREAM box.

I hit red button several times a night to be able to watch TV. The direct stream box is closest box to wifi gateway box and wifi speeds are fast. Other 2 boxes working just fine. It will run all day but from 21:30 on the no internet error comes up on screen. No timers on TV or wifi. No parental controls on.

Hello @Momawolfinfl, we want you to enjoy your service at its best.
Based on the information you have provided, this seems to be most likely a situation with your internet connection. We kindly suggest you contact your internet provider, so they can take a closer look into your gateway.
Also, please let us know if this happens in every device connected to the wifi, at the same time frame.

Can you connect using an Ethernet cable instead of WiFi?

Camilo and Litzdog911,
ATT interrogated the wifi/internet and found nothing wrong except that parental control was on and they disabled it. We have 3 TV direct stream boxes and only 1 has this problem. The other 3 devices connected to wifi work fine. I have worked HOURS for free doing what a tech should be doing and still no fix

I've done speed test
I've had internet/wifi interrogated
Att is my cellular, tv and wifi provider
I have reset box and wifi several ways
I have had 4 boxes
The other 2 tv boxes work fine
All devices work fine
What should I expect Direct TV to do? They are unable to figure it out and supposedly they have NO TECHS that come out to house to fix it

Hello @Momawolfinfl, we get the importance of enjoying your service without interruptions.
Have you tried to use an Ethernet connection? Also, please unplug the home network equipment, wait for 10 seconds, then plug it back in, and let us know how it goes.

What happens if you swap the "bad" box with one of the "good" boxes?

Again, have done ALL resets available
Several times
Why should I use eternity on this ONE box when all other devices are fine? Who will come out to set up ethernet?

Good question Litzdog911
At 21:30 the box switched to message stating direct tv not connected to internet. Green light was on and system menu showed internet connected with an excellent signal

Swapping boxes will help you determine if it's truly a box issue or something wonky at that location. And since that "bad" box is close to your router, try connecting directly via an Ethernet cable.

Thanks for letting us know, @Momawolfinfl.
Please ensure the modem, router, and streaming device is not near any other electronics, including stereos, speakers, or telephone equipment, interference from other electronic devices might cause the device to not connect properly.
Besides, the more devices connected to the wireless network, the more bandwidth is used, causing a poor streaming experience.
