NBA channels in lineup
Every single NBA season without fail, the guide gets populated with every single NBA team so that alone is something like 20 extra channels) and then there's the NBA league pass channels that populate into the guide to give a combined 30 or so extra channels that most of the time have only a description of "to be announced."
It's annoying to scroll through the guide and encounter these extra channels. Here's how I watch TV - I press the guide and then scroll down though the guide until I find something I want to watch.
I only subscribe to HBO and I assume NBA league pass channels are an extra cost. Why can't these NBA channels be included in a filter like sports.
Each time I contact DirecTV customer service about this (and I've contacted them several times about this( I always get the standard response of thanking me for my feedback and my suggestions will be passed along. Within a day or two afterwards, the NBA channels disappear without me doing anything. I've already contacted DirecTV a few days ago, but this time around nothing has happened.
I don't see how it's a solution to go to the guide and literally select every single channel other than NBA league pass and the individual team channels and make them a favorite and then filter the guide to only show favorites.

Those channels appear whenever the NBA has a free preview of the League Pass (which is ongoing right now)...and subsequently disappear once that preview is done.
You can always "favorite" all the channels you like (not including those) and have the guide only show you your favorite channels. This way, whenever they appear again during the next free preview of the League Pass, they won't clutter your guide.

But it's not just NBA league pass. It's also every single NBA team channel. Again though, why can't these be grouper into a sports filter. These are extra channels that have nothing on them.

Those are all there because of the League Pass. The NBA team channels are ALSO part of it. Altogether the League Pass ads like 30 channels to the guide, more or less. A channel for each team PLUS channels for games.

Put the guide in numerical order and the channels will be in the 1200s.
