Logging into TV
Just signed up for Direct Tv. All TV’s work so far except bedroom. Keep getting code 0017. The app is installed just won’t let me log in. Its only my second day with service.

What streaming devices are you using with the TVs that work? Also, are you a previous DirecTV satellite or AT&T subscriber?

Using Smart TV’s and a fire stick. No never had satellite. Yes AT&T user

Yes everything same. Was getting a code I think 902 when first started trying to sign in. Reset TV to factory settings. Now getting this code 0017. I have linked up other TV’s after this problem. This TCL tv is the only problem. I have another TCL no issues

Please check if device is properly connected to the internet and if you're using Wi-Fi, you can try connecting it with an Ethernet cable, if available. Let us know if it helps. Ever since AT&T and DirecTV split into 2 separate companies, there has been issues with using the same credentials. You need to use separate credentials for each service. Login to your DirecTV Stream account and change your email address.

It’s the new internet air no cables. My AT&T and Direct TV were different. Couldn’t link stuff up so they had me change to same. It’s only 1 TV giving issues.

Part of the split also was DirecTV offering satellite service via the internet, not via dish. Also support of streaming devices like Roku and Fire sticks that were not supported prior with DirecTV. Lots of old code left from the split, causing issues. You might want to try changing just the password first and if that fails go with the email change.
