Local CBS station in St.Petersburg, FL has been taken off the air by DirecTV because of its dispute with Nexstar.

We just signed up with DirecTV about 2 weeks ago. Our local CBS station went off the air this morning, December 2, 2023. We are disappointed with DirecTV to say the least. Please work harder as we've seen this action of taking local channels off the air all over the country since about 9 months ago. you are only hurting the public. We dumped Spectrum because of actions like this. Are we to dump DirecTV too?

Hello, station owners like Tegna will often suspend cable, satellite, or streaming customers’ access for a brief period to try to obtain higher guaranteed rates for themselves. Please check TVPromise.com for updates.

Has nothing to do with Nexstar. This time it’s Tegna.
