Is there any way to revert to older UI home page?
The recent update to the UI (Home page) seems to be a major step back. As others have noted, the one-way squirreling on the channel guide is very frustrating, as once you reach the end, you have to reverse and go back to the very beginning in a very time-consuming manner. Even more problematic is it has disabled my channel changer on my Samsung smart TV remote, so now the only way to go down one or 2 channels or up a couple of channels is I must log back into the main home screen and then go to the guide. Finally, the Home page often freezes, and when you first turn on the TV, whatever channel it was on will not load until you first change to a different channel and then go back to the one you were on.
So my question is, is there any way to roll back to the UI that existed before these recent changes? It feels like am on a beta program with bugs not yet worked out in the new UI.

Samsung tv app sux. Has for years. If you want some better features you can get a Directv Stream box (also called Gemini box or Osprey) from Walmart for 45 bucks. It comes with a remote with numbers for channeling changing and shortcut buttons to bring up the guide, dvr list, previous channel and record. Guide scrolling doesn't stop at the end of the channels it goes back to the first channel after the end. The box also has google play store for your other apps.

No, we don't have a way to roll back, @Katmeat. DIRECTV is enhancing its app for Samsung devices, to make it easier for you to discover and enjoy your favorite content.
Additionally, you can visit Get help with streaming issues on the DIRECTV App | DIRECTV Support to fix common streaming problems like picture freezing.

Thanks, but it is not the picture freezing, it is this (Edited per community guidelines) UI. When you say you are enhancing the app, do you have a time frame for that?
And it is not the picture that freezes, it is this new half-baked UI!

This new set up is awful! When I am watching a recorded show, if you skip the commercials and accidentally go too far, it won’t let me back up. This is beyond frustrating!

It’s horrible!! Whoever designed this change needs to be fired. I already hated stream and now I’m definitely disappointed in direct tv. It is not user friendly at all and needs to be fixed. I’m looking now into other streaming services
