I just used Hulu today on both my Gemini air and box. Which are you talking about .....do you have Dtv Satellite or Dtv Stream?  Try restarting your device

Hi Ryan, Thank you for the prompt response. As you can see from my embedded photo, I can’t even download the Hulu app. it states it is “ not compatible “. I doubt if this is a surprise to Direct TV.

It’s a Samsung Q9 series 55. Hulu worked on this tv ( and every other tv, tablet, and phone in our house) until we upgraded to a Gemini remote. I can still cast to the tv from my phone and tablet but how ridiculous is that?

Thank you, Ryan. The only thing that changed was installing the Gemini remote. We watched a movie on Hulu, on the same TV, just last night.

This is unusual because setting up a Gemini remote shouldn't affect third-party apps. Please check for any internet connectivity issues, as it may prevent the app from launching or working as intended. We also haven't received any report about this, but we'll continue monitoring for updates. In the meantime, please refer to Hulu help for assistance. Christy, DIRECTV Community Specialist

Hi Ryan,

To be clear, the issue is with the Gemini interface/os and the Google Store. The store does not recognize the Gemini interface as compatible with Hulu.

Therefore, it does not allow us to install the app.

It’s neither a Samsung nor a Hulu issue. I’m sure Hulu would work as it always has on this tv IF the Google Store thought Gemini was compatible and allowed us to download it.

Understood. Could you restart all your devices connected to this issue? Specifically, your Samsung Q9 series 55 & Gemini device. Then, retry to download the HULU app. Let's see what happens. Ryan, DIRECTV Community Specialist

I mean I asked you exactly which device you are using 4 hours ago and you never answered. I also suggested you restart your devices. Has nothing to do with a remote.
