I think it is the best live streaming out there. With their Gemini devices, it is set up like sat/cable with channel numbers on the remote control. Also, Directv Stream is the only streaming service that lets you have it in 2 different locations at the same time and be able to view it on 2 TVs outside your home network, so if you have 2 homes or travel a lot you can take it with you or you could even share your service so you can split your bill with a person you can trust.
Had DirecTV satellite for around 20 years and bought a summer place and didn' that satellite reception so we switched over to DirecTV Stream. Had it since it went national. It works great for our family, at home, on the road and at camp.
