Guide Freezes
When I try to go to the guide, it freezes but the audio works. I'm unable to select anything and I can't even back out of the guide. The only solution I have found is to clear the cache, delete/install the app, or restart the TV. This does not solve the issue though, because in a few days I will have the same issue. This has been going on for the past few months, and I have never had an issue like this before. I'm using an Amazon Firetv and using the directv stream app. I have talked to someone at Directv and the only thing they suggested was to contact Amazon. I have talked to Amazon, but they haven't been helpful at all.

Hello @Tcoop. We're sorry to hear about your ongoing guide issues. We can check if your Fire TV software is up-to-date. In the Fire TV menu, go to Settings > My Fire TV > About > Find "Software version" > Click "Check for System Update". Stephanie, DIRECTV Community Specialist
