Guide discrepancies
Greetings Community!
Please review the pics and notes below to help me resolve an issue with the Channel Guide. I subscribe to the DirecTV streaming service in zip code 27282.
These are the Scheduled Recordings for Mon 2/17 to Wed 2/19. Notice that CBS Evening News for Tue 2/18 (E31) is missing.
Here you can see the Guide for Mon 2/17. Note that WFMY News 2 at 6 is in the 6:00-6:30 time slot and that CBS Evening News is in the 6:30-7:00 time slot and is scheduled to record.
Here's the Guide for Tue 2/18.Notice the WFMY News 2 at 5:30 time slot is 6:00-7:00. The correct time slot for this program should be 5:30-6:00.
Also note WFMY News 2 at 6 (time slot 6:30-7:00) is missing.
You may want to check the Guide for the other days of the week to ensure that the programs and time slots are correct for these programs.

This issue, reported over two weeks ago, is still not resolved. After several chat sessions I'm told the problem has been escalated to the "back office" support team. I've learned on my own that Gracenote manages the Guide programming data for DirecTV. There's no way to report specific issues directly to Gracenote. I'll try a) contacting my local TV station to report the Guide discrepancy or b) wait to see if DirecTV passes my report to them for correction. I expect I'm not the only customer in this viewing area that has noticed this Guide discrepancy.
