Gemini Air: When turning off cycles back on

Gemini Air: 

Have had a couple of months. Lately every so often when I turn off using remote cycles back to on and settles on an HDMI source not used then displays the error message re no source. Very weird. When I turn it off a second time it does go off.

I have followed those directions before to no avail. Just an FYI one of the suggestions was to run a network diagnostics, no such option. In any event I know it is not my internet. 

As stated this is random I cannot reproduce at will. This is just something that has started about the same time as the not so helpful changes to the Home/Guide buttons. Just wondering if anyone else has this issue.
