Gemini Air Randomly Hops to Fear Zone

Are you sure it’s actually showing that show or is it the “screen saver” advertising that show. 

Hi Cwaffles! I am sure it’s not a screensaver. It does it randomly, about once/day when I leave, but this afternoon didn’t after 5 hours, then did when I took my dog out for 20 min. It’s a creepy show and does not even show as a channel option + I don’t see the show anywhere.

I suggest either performing an exorcism on the Gemini Air or packing up all of your belongings and leaving that Gemini Air behind while you move. 

All kidding aside, I have no idea.  Like you said that show isnt on any of the DirecTV stream channels so there has to be another explanation.  Are you sure the show is called Fear Zone?  That's like some random mini-series from 2013 according to IMDB.  There's a show called Fear Factor that is on DirecTV stream.

DIRECTTV Team, I’d appreciate if someone called me. I had to cancel service today over this AND I can only record cable shows, not shows in prime time tv. I was told the Tech Team did not know. Hi @DIRECTVhelp - I took a video after the change happened (it never happens while I am watching). I noticed that Fear Zone is on TV PLUS. So my Gemini is randomly defaulting to that. I really really need a hypthesis on why this is happening from your team as soon as possible. Thank you! 

TV PLUS isn't a channel or service included with DIRECTV STREAM. What you describe might be related to your TV switching inputs. Please check your private messages to get a better view of the issue. Christian, DIRECTV Community Specialist

No, it has nothing to do with your DirecTV equipment. For some reason that only Samsung can explain, your TV is switching to its TV Plus channel. You'll need to contact Samsung to fix this.

It's a Samsung TV issue. Hopefully someone will figure out and post a solution here. It has nothing to do with your DirecTV equipment. 

We are having the same issue for months.  We turn the TV off and then a minute or two later it turns back on automatically to a different channel than it was on and it is always the Fear Zone showing on the new channel.  Please advise how to stop this.
