What is the channel number as it is not showing up in my guide?

Nevermind!  I just rebooted my box and now it is showing up.  It is channel 323 for anyone who is interested in it.  Not something I would want to watch but someone might like it.

Just another useless "B" grade channel. They are sure stacking the lineup with absolute horrible content. Now the price increase will be next.

Well, finally it happened.

I don’t watch most of the channels. Give me a package with Local Channels and just TCM.

Not going to happen.

It will if I switch to antenna and only pay for things I want to stream.

I already have the window antenna and I’m on the 14th floor.

My sister already did it and they can afford anything they want.

The prices even for the most inexpensive package is ridiculous

Then why are you subscribing to a service like DirecTV Stream?

@AlidaMC If all you want are locals and TMC, and you can get your locals with an antenna, your best bet is the antenna and a subscription to MAX. The latter has a “brand spotlight” (hub) for each of their various properties with (at least some of) that property’s content, and one of those is TCM.  The TCM hub doesn’t provide a linear stream of TCM, but it includes a lot of TCM and TCM-ish content on demand. It does not include everything TCM shows, but it includes a lot of additional content (not all of which I’d consider “classic”, but tastes differ).  And of course you get all kinds of other content with MAX.  There are a range of subscriptions ranging from $10-21/month, depending on whether you’d accept commercials, how many simultaneous streams you want, and if you want 4K. Not inexpensive - roughly on par with Netflix - but certainly cheaper than a live streaming service if you have no interest in the rest of what they offer.  However, if you really want  “full” TCM, including the linear stream, then you need some live streaming service that includes it (DirecTV, Sling, Hulu Live, YouTube TV - there’s probably a couple more) - you can’t get it by itself.

I got rid of MAX. They don’t have enough classic film.

The only other major option I am aware of (that is standalone) is the Criterion channel, which I think is $10-11/month. There’s a “classic” channel on Roku, but I don’t know anything about it (content or cost). There are old (as in out of copyright) movies on archive.org.   But I don’t know of anything that would be a really close match for TCM. (Even current TCM isn’t really a match for “classic” TCM…)
