DTVS "record team" refuses to record regional sports if game is also being broadcast on national channel

Since you see that the games on your regional channel are not recording have you tried to set it manually to record to see if it will record at the same time it is broadcasting on the national channels? I know you expect it to automatically record but sometimes technology does not do what we expect it to do.

I suspect if it is on a national channel it won't record the localbroadcast.

Next thing to try is to cancel the team recording and then do a one-show recording on the regional channel. I'll try that for tomorrow night. But if the team recording is enabled, there is no way to manually record the regional channel because it says it's already being recorded (false).

I want to record the Knicks playoff game tonight on MSG Network to hear Clyde Frasier, but DirecTVStream will only record the TNT telecast. It's very frustrating.  Does anyone know a way to do this? 

If you turn OFF the record-all-games option and then record the specific MSG network broadcast it might work.

Thanks Lorie. I switched to Fubo because DirecTV Stream hasn't fixed the problems with AutoExtend, in fact it got worse.

Yeah honestly I think your solution is too complicated. They just add two hours to every sports recording.
