DTV inconsistent between different platform apps!!!!
Is there a "how to" on navigating a DTV stream app with a remote?
What I mean by this is I find inconsistencies between the AppleTV DTV app and the GoogleTV streaming app.
For instance, on the AppleTV DTV app when you hit button to bring up information about the tv show like I can on a DTV device like the DTV Air device, I can bring up information on what the DTV Air remote OVERFLOW (three little dots). That information will show up.
But there's no button that does that on the Google TV DTV app.
Also, within either one of the DTV apps, whether it be the GoogleTV or AppleTV. Neither app will change channels with the UP/DOWN channel buttons. You have to use the directional/navigation button. That's weird.

Apps programmed differently between different devices. They are not guaranted to be the same.
If you want a more traditional TV experience (changing channels, actual channel numbers, etc.) that is currently only through the DIRECTV STREAM box (Gemini or Gemini Air).
As apps are subject to change, there is no traditional manual ("how to") on navigating them. Yes it would be nice if the controls and interface were more universal across devices. Hopefully the new/remaining owner of the company (since separating from AT&T) will have that taken into serious consideration for future app updates.
