Directv stream

I have a firestick 4k in the bedroom and it works fine for me. Is your Firestick Dtv stream updated to 4.0.31.36712

It's well-documented here that the Samsung TV DirecTV Stream App is junk. But I've had no issues with Roku, FireStick, iPad, PCs, or my DirecTV Stream boxes. 

Give us more details about what's not working for you .

Funny also how when I ask anyone with this issue--if their app is updated they dont say yes or no. I saw someone post the other day that after they updated the app the logo issue went away. Correct version is 4.0.31.36712  Maybe people don't know how to update the app on firestick.

@Ludwick577 it's not an update issue.  I have the most current version and still have missing station identification on the firestick. 

@Twominimes How do you exit the Dtv stream app on your firestick? Do you just hit the home button? If so, that's why your logo issue is happening. Exit the app using the back button on the firestick remote so the "Are you sure u want exit" popup happens then hit exit. Do it that way every time and that logo issue will stop happening when you go back to the app and then guide. Hitting the home button on the remote is not the proper way to exit out of the app.

Interesting @Ludwick577 I don't exit the app.  I either fall asleep or just turn power off.  It has been fine doing it this way for a long time, until the latest update to the guide from directv.  I like the new look, but would like to see my station identifiers back for sure.

Simple fix. Just exit the app the correct way. If you fall asleep and can't do that --then next time you start the app exit out of it then restart. Hit the back button to bring up the exit popup. It's an easy fix. Just a couple of key presses on your remote. If those logos are that important to you then just do it that way. Takes 5 seconds. 

  Complete crap. Have not been able to use Directv on Samsung, firestick or roku for over a month.

  Support lies and says they are working on it. Not in this lifetime.

Had enough of this crap service.
