DirecTV Stream not holding position when recording - new TV
We have recently upgraded our TV to a Sony Bravia. We're still using DirecTV Stream for our normal TV watching. We will record shows when we can't finish watching them, but it doesn't hold the position we stopped watching at. Do we need to change settings on the TV?

The DirecTV stream box; the same one we've been using. We had no issues with the old TV (a Panasonic).

Puzzling. The DirecTV Stream doesn't care what TV it's connected to, so I don't see why this behavior would have changed. Have you tried resetting the DirecTV Stream box?

@litzdog911 I have been having the same problem with my Gemini Boxes. It is not affecting my Air though. @Toreador Resetting does not help. This seems to be some bug it happened one other time also and it was only fixed after an update.

We have seen that the options for playback have changed; the "ways to watch" feature does make the options available. The "watch now" feature is usually available, but not always.

When you go back to watch a recording and you notice the option goes to play vs resume, and the show is still recording, select “ways to watch” and on the right hand side, selection the recording option and it will continue where you left off. Doesn’t work after the recording is over. I’ve informed DTV stream of this for probably a year, very frustrating. It used to never do this.
