I did those things. It seems the app has changed. It used to open up to a TV show then you could find the guide or your recordings. Now there's are very small bar on the left side where you have to navigate to. It's clunky and not as easy to use as it was 2 days ago. I assume you made some changes to the app but they are not for a better user experience.

Like anything new, it will take a little learning period, and then you will forget about the way it used to be. Other devices have had that screen setup for a while, and once you get past the learning a new screen phase, it will be a breeze.
