DirectTV Stream app on Firestick only shows free trial page even when logged in
About one month ago the DirectTV stream app on my 4K Firestick stopped responding to the remote directional inputs. I uninstalled the reinstalled the app and now it only shows the page for a free trial. It allows me to log in but it will never go on to the app to watch TV.
I have uninstalled/reinstalled several times but always end up the same.
Below is the screen I am unable to get past. As you can see, I have successfully logged in but it will only give me an option for a free trial. If I go that route it says it will start charging my Amazon account after the trial period and I don't want to end up paying double so I don't go any further.
We have the app running fine on another Firestick in another room so it's specific to this TV/Firestick.

Amazon account? What has Amazon got to do with the service? Did you subscribe through Amazon or DirecTV Stream?
Have you tried clearing the cache and data on the app on the device, then delete the app, restart the device and add back the app?

I have no idea why it says it will charge my Amazon account. I'm as confused as you about that. My active subscription is direct with DirectTV.
How do you clear the cache? I don't see that option.

I cleared data and cleared cache, uninstalled, reinstalled but still ended up in the same situation.

Have you ever been a DirecTV or AT&T subscriber? If so, are you using the same credentials for the DirecTV Stream account?

I can log into my at the site you link to.
I can also log in with the same login credentials on our other TV's (some Firestick, some FireTV's) and also on the mobile app on my iPhone.
I have been an ATT subscriber but switched to DirectTV stream using different credentials to avoid confusion and I'm using those login credentials.

Hit the sign out option and see what happens. There should be a page next to sign back in.

Was this ever figured out? I’ve had that same screen for a few days and it’s driving me nuts.. although it almost doesn’t matter since Directv lost ABC, Disney and ESPN
