Direct Stream Home guide change

Yesterday, my home guide was displayed across top of screen:  Guide  My Library On Demand  Apps  Settings

Today it is all along the left side of display. How do I return it to across the top?

Hello. We’re investing in new features for both DIRECTV and DIRECTV STREAM. On STREAM this is a new feature where you will see the menu on the left side of the screen. @DIRECTVhelp How about on the guide---you offer a on/off toggle to turn on/off filters being displayed b/c they take up way too much space on the guide

Ludwick has it right.  The Guide could be much bigger without all the choices on the left.  I have been wanting to see that change for quite a while.

DirecTv May see the homepage update as an upgrade but I see the reverse, definite negative. How about if you really think some folks would like it the new way, offer a toggle switch in settings to change back to what we all know and love. Sorry but you made using it more difficult, not easier. 
I also agree with other members in above comments about the filters being less obtrusive.

@DIRECTVhelp how about returning the new interface on the Roku app back the original version the current version is horrible.

The left side bar is taking up way too much screen space. It’s cutting down the timeline on the guide.

Also, was there any communication about this change?!!    It is so painful and cumbersome!

When I'm in my Apps, when I am done with the App, it takes me all the way out. The "old"" interface took me back to Apps, so I could select another App. This is highly annoying - at least to me.

With the new interface, under My Library, the View All Recordings Box has disappeared and within this box you were able to see Upcoming recordings.  I reported this via chat with Direct TV stream support days ago and it still hasn't been fixed.

On my TVs, with the new interface, under My Library, the View All Recordings Box is missing and within here you were able to see Upcoming recordings and that is gone!  I reported this to Direct TV stream support days ago and it still hasn't been fixed!  I have restarted multiple runes and tgat didn't fix the issue.  So annoying

Also, there is no way to view all  of the on demand programming available.  I reported this back on October 26th.  The menus freeze when you try to scroll thru the few on demand titles you can see.

Now I can’t see what my DVR is set to record nor can I view how many hours I have recorded on my dvr. 

It amazes me that DirectTV raised my bill $20 per month on the same day they updated the UI which rendered most of the features I am paying for useless! It’s been over six weeks since the new UI was introduced and absolutely nothing has been done to correct  the problems!

Customers who cannot use the features they are paying for should receive prorated refunds starting with the date the new UI was implemented.  Further, service should be discounted  going forward until the problems are corrected.

Has anyone found a way to revert the Homepage home guide to the top of the page instead of down the left side?!  I do not consider the new interface a viewing upgrade, instead our household views it as a definite downgrade.....
