Different channel sequence

We just got DIRECTV streaming. One of the TVs connect via box and another via a fire stick and the channels starts at 2.  Our third TV is a Samsung so we are connecting via the DIRECTV streaming app and the channels start at 1000. How do I get the Samsung TV to also start the channels at 2?  We only want to learn one new set of channels.  If it helps I checked and the Samsung is up to date on updates.

Samsung's DirecTV app is junk. You'll have a much better experience with a stand-alone streaming device (Roku, FireStick, etc.)

Thank you!  Had a feeling it was an app. Is there a device you like best?  We have a fire stick, but we are hating the remote.

Thanks, @litzdog911 for your insight. @Sssccc1. Samsung TVs with software version upgraded to 3.0+ can take advantage of the full app's function. Visit Get Info on Compatible Devices | DIRECTV Support to learn more about compatible streaming devices. Mark, DIRECTV Community Specialist

Our Samsung says it is updated with latest and on version 2211.  How should we proceed?

Thanks for the information. While we can't sort your channels that are numbered below 1000, we can arrange them in alphabetical order. To do this, just press the 'Down' button on the remote, then press the left arrow to select 'Guide'. After that, press the 'Select' button on the remote and navigate to the side menu by pressing the left arrow. Finally, scroll down to 'Sort by A-Z' and press the 'Select' button on the remote. Let us know how it goes.
