Customer support is clueless, how do you know?
When I posted HULU isn't playing on DirecTV streaming (and it still isn't), now for 8 days
and some of the replies are HULU is working on the problem,
when I called yesterday twice, HULU customer support is clueless of any fix and when it's happening.
So where do these responses on here come from that it's being fixed, is it a guess?
And when you say a fix is coming, how do you know and how do you know when?
Do you work for DirecTV?

Hey @LaBeets There's a reported outage with the Hulu app. Our team is aware and working on it.
While we do not have a specific timeline for the resolution, it will be functional once the fix is implemented.

Please explain what an 'outage with the HULU app means'?
It sounds as though your pushing off the problem to HULU when clearly its your boxes.
HULU works fine on my phone.
But not on any of my 3 DirecTV boxes.
Why don't you just replace the defective DirecTV boxes it affects and make your customers happy?
We pay a lot of money for your service and surprisingly, expect it to work.

It's been 8 days now and you have no timeline for the fix,
that's horrible customer service.
I'm giving it until Tuesday, then I'll switch to another cable provider.

Same thing happened a couple of years ago. They got it fixed. Just be patient.

They are not pushing it onto Hulu. It is an issue with the apps specifically for the DIRECTV STREAM (Gemini/Osprey) boxes. So that would be a shared issue between them.
Please don't create duplicate threads.
