Continual glitches in DVR recordings

Has anyone else noticed glitches every minute to minute-and-a-half in their recordings the past couple of days. I first discovered it in my CW recordings from Thursday, but now I'm watching an AMC recording from this evening, and it has it too. Very annoying!

I've been seeing glitches - brief audio and video dropouts lasting less than a second and recurring at regular intervals - when watching recordings since the middle of the World Series. I see them on two Apple TV 4K boxes after upgrading to iOS 17. I don't see glitches on the ($30 from BestBuy) Amazon Firestick 4K.

iOS 17 has many bugs, this is only one of them.

Hi lou_do ... the audio drops out, and it lasts for approximately 10 seconds. But it reoccurs every few minutes throughout the recording.

Hi and litzdog911 ... I have an Apple TV 4K box. 

Hi bubbadue ... I haven't made any system changes on my end. This just started happening with my Thursday recordings. I’ll try disconnecting the box and restarting to see if that makes any difference.

ISSUES2 If you've got auto-update turned on Apple applies updates for you. Go check on what version of tvOS you've got, Settings->General->About.

I've only seen the glitching on 4K recorded shows, YMMV with plain old HD.

I have my software updates on auto, but for some odd reason, I discovered that I had an update available (first time that's ever happened).

I performed the update to my Apple TV box, and I've set a couple recordings on the two channels I was having issues with, so hopefully the problem will be resolved. Wish me luck!
