Considering dropping Dish Network and adding DTV Streaming. Have questions

Been with dishnetwork for 25 years. Tired of having equipment so considering dropping dish. How is streaming handled away from home? We have 2nd home and would like to stream when there - what restrictions are there if any?  Thanks

We’re glad to hear you’re considering joining our family. If you don’t want additional devices from your TV provider, DIRECTV STREAM is your best option. Our bring-your-own-device service counts with unlimited simultaneous in-home streams (using the same Wi-Fi network). Nothing is preventing you to enjoy from all the entertainment. You can also have 3 out-of-home streams simultaneously for you to enjoy in your second home.

You can also enjoy local channels in your area, and best of all, if you have any doubts about the information provided, you can check it by yourself with our 5-day Free Trial, go to https://streamtv.directv.com/ and get a full view of all our benefits.

We’re willing to have you with us soon, don’t hesitate to contact us if you need more help! Claudia, DIRECTV Community Specialist

As a note, DIRECTV is currently in a dispute with Tegna, so if you are in a market of local channels owned by Tegna, you will NOT get them at the moment due to this dispute. Just thought I'd put it out there as some sign up completely unaware of this.
