Closed Captioning on multiple Gemini / Osprey boxes - setting no longer sticking

We use multiple Gemini boxes in the house.   We only want CC on one of them.  Previously, the setting would persist correctly just on the one box.  Now every time we start any TV it starts with CC and we need to turn it off.    I am not sure if the move to profiles has updated this setting to be per user vs per device (it happened around the same time, but not sure if exact).   We do not wish to use profiles because we like to start directly to programming as it has always worked.   Thoughts on if this was due to some other update, bug, or work around?   Thanks in advance!

Hi, @dink20. We understand everyone has their own preferences. Closed Captioning is now supported at the profile level with the recent launch of User Profiles. It's recommended to ensure that you're using the new profile created after the launch (not the profile shared by the household) and change the setting to your preference for that User Profile.

You can set your Gemini device to only show the last profile used. Go to Settings>Preferences>Select Profile on Launch>Toggle On.

If we create multiple profiles, will the last used profile on that TV automatically load?  Without needing to answer which profile we want with each power on.
