Can't record Tuesday night's NBA games
I tried and failed to record Tuesday night's two NBA play-in games. While the guide showed the recording was set, the recordings never appeared on my DVR. Sure looks like DIrecTV is trying to force me to record the crappy Betcast broadcasts. I accidentally recorded those first and they showed just fine in upcoming recordings. When I realized my mistake, I cancelled the Betcast games and recorded the regular games on TNT. I've tried repeatedly to record the TNT games and the red dot shows on the guide but I can't find either game on my playlist. I'm now forced to watch them real time or not at all!! This (Edited per community guidelines)!

There were no NBA games on Monday, you must mean Tuesday.
If your DVR was scheduled to record games on Monday, that is the issue right there. There was a scheduling issue where the cloud DVR attempted to record NBA games on Monday, but since it didn't find any matching titles or otherwise matches to record Monday night, the recording was aborted and not carried into Tuesday night.
I'd recheck your series recording and ensure that you are recording the games properly through either the Guide or through the search.

Also, are you a DIRECTV STREAM or DIRECTV SATELLITE customer? What are the receiver models?

You're right, I got the wrong day of the week. It was last night (Tuesday) where I had this issue. It's still a big issue. I schedule NBA (as well as other sports) all of the time and have never had this issue.
DirecTV Streaming with C71Kw-400 devices. DVR recording did not show on the 2 of these devices that I checked, and also not on my iPhone app. When selecting the game to watch real time from the guide, the red dot was there, seeming to indicate it was recording.

This was NOT sorted out! I made a mistake about the day of the week this happened on, is all. Please read the original post and simply replace "Monday" with "Tuesday".
What good is a recording that shows to be happening on the guide if there is no way to access it?!
