Can not login to Directv Stream App or Watch Now in Browser
Hello,
I can log in to my direct stream account overview page in a browser with my credentials, but when I try to log into stream.directv.com in a browser or into the directv app on my phone, I get an error:
Incorrect User ID and Password. Please login with a valid DIRECTV STREAM User ID and Password. [Code: 0017]
I have heard there can be an issue if you are a previous directv satellite customer and using the same email with directv stream. How do I solve this?

Go to your account and change your credentials to a different email.

Hi, @dilznic. We can help you fix this. If you're a previous DIRECTV Satellite customer, you can change your user ID to avoid conflict sign-in issue on your DIRECTV STREAM. To do that, you can follow these steps below:
Change your user ID from your Profile
- Sign in at directv.com.
- Select Change under User ID.
- Enter the new User ID and click Send Code, for verification.

When I log in on DIRECTV.com and go to the profile page, I get this message:
We're sending you to att.com
Looks like you also have an AT&T service associated with this user ID. Since you do, you'll still view and manage your profile info there.
Good to know: If you want to see your profile in the future, you can sign in at att.com to skip this extra step.

That lets me login as before but I still cannot view the profile page to change my DIRECTV associated email. Same message about redirecting to Att.

Do you have linked accounts associated with the email address? If so, you need to have them unlinked.
