App sound
Why does the app always start with sound disabled? If I'm starting the app, it's because I want to watch TV. On my phone and tablet, I have to turn the sound on after I open the app and select something to watch.

This is really not helpful. It doesn't make any sense that I would have to configure app settings in my account. This should be an app setting. I logged in, but there's nowhere obvious to configure any settings for the app.

By default, the Mute Audio on Launch setting is set to ON. Once you're logged in, go to Settings > Preferences to disable/enable audio for the Home and Docked video players when the app is launched. This is linked to the Play Live TV on Launch setting. If Play Live TV on Launch is set to off, this setting does not display. Fatmih, DIRECTV Community Specialist
