Amazon Prime

The app opens but won’t play videos. I have signed out and back in. I disabled updates. I get all the way to selecting “play” then I Jpjust get a spinning arrow.

Sorry. I have a 3 yr old lg smart tv. I changed to att air internet recently. Everything works on all devices except the LG tv. I can screen mirror Prime video to the tv. But the app on the tv won’t update and functions correctly until I select play video. I’ve restarted everything multiple times and worked with stt customer service.

Check to see if the LG TV itself has any updates. If screen mirroring continues not to work then I would consider a dedicated streaming device (Roku, Firestick, DirecTV's Gemini, etc.) as 'smart' TVs are known to not always play well with the DirecTV/DIRECTV STREAM app, even if mirroring from another device.

I’m still not sure of your issue.  Are you having problems with the Prime Video app when invoked from within the DirecTV app?  If so, what device connected to your LG TV are you running the DirecTV app on?   Or are you having problems running the Prime Video app on a DirecTV Gemini device connected to your LG TV?  (If your issue is neither of those, but with running the Prime Video app natively on the LG TV, then I don’t know what your issue has to do with DirecTV Stream.)

Are you having issues with the DirecTV app or the Amazon Prime app?

Reading through your posts again, it seems to have nothing to do with DirecTV. If you thought you were posting to get help with AT&T Air Internet, then that is a separate forum.

I must have been very distracted when I previously posted. I don't think the issue is with DirecTV at all, but using the Amazon Prime app with one TV since switching to AT&T Air.
