Account will not log in

Cannot log in on Stream Device, DirecTV App or the website. Says invalid account or password.  Everything is correct as I can log onto the website and look at my account, but I can no longer stream.

You need to either reset your password to regain access or call in for sign-in help. Just so I understand correctly, what error code do you receive when signing in? You stated that you are unable to sign in on ANY devices?

Reseting your password will not work. I am having the same issue and was on with support for over an hour yesterday.  Reset password, cleared web cache,  uninstalled and reinstalled the app, updated Apple TV, restarted Apple TV, unplugged and then restarted Apple TV non of it worked.

Are you a previous satellite subscriber? Using the same credentials? If so, you need to use a different email/password for this service.

Yes, but I am not new to Directv Stream and was using it when it was ATTnow.  In fact it has worked fine for me never had any major issues until yesterday and then it just stopped letting me login.  My guess is someone made a software change/upgrade somewhere in the environment that had undesired consequences. It will not get fixed until they back that change out or figure out how to mediate.

A suggestion? Are you using the Apple Single Sign-On where it stores the provider? Try deleting the provider, restart the device and login again.

Yep, support had me do that yesterday and it still didn’t work. Not using the same credentials as when I had satellite.

OK. Well, don't know what to tell you. Service working fine for me and most others. You know your credentials work because you can sign in to your account from the website. Seems ever since they combined the 2 services into 1 app, issues have occurred with login, etc. Good luck with support at his point. 

Have you tried another device like your phone, tablet, etc, just to test?

Yes same issues no mater what I try, iPad, iPhone, multiple Apple TVs, Windows PC and MacBook.  Thanks for the suggestions guess I will just have to wait and see what comes back from tier 3 support.

Having similar problem here. Am able to sign in on Osprey boxes on 2 tvs with Directv Stream. Able to login on Ipad and Iphones, now cannot log back into a Fire tv or 2 brand new Samsung tv's. Just shows me error code 201. I've already had a ticket with AT&T put in and no progress. Spent about 3 hours with tech support and even had one guy tell me there is nothing they can do. We have reset user id and password countless times and switched emails. One Fire tv was logged in and worked fine, then when trouble shooting why the Samsung tv's wouldn't login, we logged out of the fire tv and can't log back in. All app have been deleted and reinstalled. Cleared cache and all of that. Have been going through this with multiple brands of tvs and in the end the only thing that works is the 2 Osprey boxes. Any input would be great!

Did you figure out your problem.  Im having an issue. Can log in everyone but not on a new samsung smart tv. Error code 201. I can log in everywhere else. Don’t know what to do

Signed up for Direct TV stream on my Roku player it took my payment method charged $30 and refunded $30 as it stated, when I try to setup streaming it says account issue. Also downloaded the mobile app and when I try to log into it it says "oops that's an att account log into direct TV account instead" I don't have att account.terrible access all around!
