Why should you choose DirectTV over other streaming services?

Good day, guys!

I'm not trying to be harsh (I'm genuinely curious), but the DirectTV stream doesn't seem to be a decent deal. It costs $85 for the channels I want, compared to roughly $70 for Fubo and $65 for YTTV.

The only "benefit" I can think of is that I've heard (though it's not confirmed) that DirectTV delivers 5.1 sound on live broadcasts, whereas everyone else is still on stereo.

Is there something I'm overlooking? Is it because DirectTV doesn't charge for 4k (which YTTV charges $20 for)?

What is the "selling point" of your product? Is it entirely due to the fact that DirectTV may be lucrative and AT&T/DirectTV isn't attempting to cannibalise its other businesses?

For some, it is the regional sports networks owned by Bally's (formerly regional Fox Sports Networks).  No other streaming service currently offers these broadcasts unless you have a cable TV or satellite subscription that offers streaming of these channels via TV Everywhere (TVE).

Channel offerings vary from one streaming service to another.  If you want a specific channel, you may be limited in which streaming platform offers the channel.  I had a hard time finding a streaming service that offered the Science Channel without needing to purchase an add-on package.

They also offer (for purchase) a streaming device customized for the service that offers a more cable-like user interface - channel numbers and a remote that can access them directly, plus other remote features that on commodity streaming devices (used with DirecTV Stream or other streaming services, which AFAIK run only on commodity streamers) can be accessed only through menus or multiple gestures.

Some here have reported better PQ than the competing services, but I can't say on that.
