Who Is The ACTUAL Owner Of The Direct TV Account At Our House?

I live at the same address as my mother. We put the DirectTV stream service under my name, but she pays the bill. My mother uses AT&T cell service and already has an account with them.

I'm confused as to who is actually responsible for the account because though my name was used to sign up for it and my email is used to access the app, the billing information is not accessible to me because it prompts me to put in my mother's AT&T account.

So my question is, who actually has ownership/responsibility for the account? If she misses a payment, does that affect me since we used my name?
