WatchTV App on Apple TV . Can't sign in...
I downloaded the WatchTV app on my Apple TV. I use my DirectTV log in credentials. I get an error that my creds are incorrect.

The WatchTV app is for the AT&T-provided WatchTV service, which is about to become history in a few days, on 30 Nov 2021. You would not use your DIRECTV login credentials, you would use your AT&T wireless login credentials.
