Upgrading Max to Ultimate Plan
Since I receive my Max subscription through my DirecTV Stream subscription, I am locked into the Ad Free plan (1080/no Dolby Atmos).
There is currently no way to upgrade that plan, either through DirecTV or through Max. That needs to be fixed. It’s absurd that we are locked into a mid-level plan. The only way to get the top tier in this case is to have a separate account and subscription directly with Max, which is silly.
I (and many others) would gladly pay an upgrade fee for the top tier. This is a lost revenue opportunity. Other providers allow users to upgrade their tier. Why doesn’t DirecTV? Please fix this issue.
Thank you.

Hello @HofstraJet. Separate carriage agreements apply for different DIRECTV video services. Although we don't have an option to upgrade to an Ultimate Ad-Free MAX, we'll pass this suggestion along to our team to explore possible next steps. DIRECTV appreciates your input. At one point, they were going to kick the sports programming up to the higher tier.
It's essential that upgrading be an option, although with all the mergers and separations of Warner, AT&T, DirecTV and whatever other companies... hopefully an upgrade becomes a possibility.
