Unauthorized User
A temporary house guest was given permission to use my DirecTV Stream log-in credentials while visiting my residence. After leaving, they continue to use my DirecTV Stream services without permission. This has denied me access to one of my two allowed streams at times. I have changed both my username and password but this has not permitted the unauthorized user from continuing to access my DirecTV Stream services. I have verified that I am still able to log into my own personal streaming devices using my old login credentials. Is there a way to “push” a reset to my account so as to force all connected devices to have to re-login again?

No user control tool of devices. You might try to contact support and see if they can reset the account or devices. At one time long ago they were able to do this. Not sure now.

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, customer support appears to be located outside of the U.S. and I wan't confidant that the tech understood my problem due to a language difference. I have verified again today that my Roku streaming device is still able to launch DirecTV Streaming using my previous username and password despite both being changed and verified in my account information profile. I suspect that if I logged out of DirecTV Streaming on my Roku and logged back in that the new login credentials would be required but it doesn't appear that DirecTV is booting off any previously authorized streaming devices despite the username/password change. This needs to be fixed for account security reasons.

Nothing anyone here can do to resolve the issue. No one here in a open community forum has access to account info, Support is still your best alternative.

Please check the steps to view and manage your DIRECTV STREAM devices.
Let's try and let us know how it goes.

@DIRECTVhelp That only works if you have the DirecTV Streming boxes. Keep that in mind as you provide help to customers. If you do not have any of the boxes that section does not even appear.

@bcbsncjlj Correct. My Accounts Overview page does not have an option to manage non-DirecTV streaming devices. Customer Support was able to verify the offending streaming device as active but says there is no option to reset the account. I assume that at some point in the future that device will receive a DirecTV Streaming app update that will force a new login but until then they can use my streaming service at will.

I'm having the same issue. I'm trying to "boot" people from using my directv login credentials. I changed my user ID and password yet, the directv app on all my mobile devices, both Apple and Android work with my old credentials. Directv has no answers.

The answer is not to share your credentials. There are no tools to boot devices.

Things happen. Sensitive information can become compromise. That is not an acceptable answer

Directv stream supports thief of services.
I have asked customer service to resolve this issue several times over the last 4 months. They first ask you to change your password and tell you all devices will need to log back in.
This is not true.
They have asked me to change my password 12 times but they are just reading a script.
Please fix your account management and at least make it do what your customer support representatives have been telling us. Log off each device when the password changes.
Thank you.

From the experience that I have had they will not reset things for you. I have recently moved and had reset my location the max number of times. So now I can only stream 2 devices in my house until march 2023. I e called 3 times and they are refusing to reset it saying that someone outside of my house is using my login. The only thing that has changed is my place of residence. So good luck with getting support from the company. I am on the verge of cancelling because what is the point of paying $130 a month if only 2 people can watch at a time.

The problem is they don’t have the tools to fix this. A multi billion dollar company can’t fix this issue.
