Unauthorized user account my account

Hello someone I know gained access to my Directv stream account info and has been using my account and recording shows. I have contacted customer service to assist me with this issue and they helped me change my password. Unfortunately this did not resolve the issue and my account is still being used without my permission. Everyday a new movie is being recorded and I am constantly deleting their activity. I have asked this person numerous times to stop using my service and they have not discontinued. Meantime directtv customer service is telling me that I have to delete my account and create a new account. This should not be the only solution! What is the point of changing your password if others can still have access to your account?! PLEASE HELP!!

Hello and thank you for taking the time to reply. The information you shared details how to add a secondary user to my account. However I am trying to remove an unauthorized user. I have tried resetting my password and ID yet the issue has not been resolved. I have escalated my issue to top priority team and at&t has not been able to offer a solution. I am very disappointed and unhappy with at&t service at this moment.

If I'm not mistaken, whenever you change your ID and/or password it takes some time for devices that were already signed in with the previous credentials to get the command to type in the new credentials. I've had devices (FireSticks) that took upto 4 days before the screen would pop up to enter the new credentials. So it's just a matter of time before the unauthorized user will get logged out. 

P.S. If the person has already scheduled recordings, these will continue, even if he's/she's no longer able to sign in.

Thank you for taking time to reply! Unfortunately I have been working on this issue for 2 weeks and have done everything customer service has recommended. I decided to cancel my subscription. It's unfortunate because I have been a loyal customer for over 4 years but At&t has failed to protect my privacy and rights as a customer.
