Unable to log in to Max app with computer or phone. I have Directv Stream and have a 3 month free trial of Max and when i go to Max and try to log in with the Directv stream provider i just get a message that says, Incorrect user ID or password. Try again.Care code: 201 [LU100] I have tried changing my password 4 or 5 times and even changed my email. I have talked to Directv both on the chat and the phone and no help! I even talked to Max and they said it is a problem on the Directv side that they need to fix. And i am using the same user name and password that i use for Directv stream. It's been over a week since i signed up for Directv and Max app still not working!
Care Codes are DirecTV Satellite error codes, not DirecTV Stream. Max works fine for me using Roku, Fire Sticks, Tablets, or cell phone. What device are you using? Are you a previous satellite user? Using the same credentials? If so, you need to use a different credential for the DirecTV Stream service.
I am using PC and phone. Don;t and never did have DirecTV Satellite only stream. Can not use the roku because they want you to go log in on a pc or phone with a provider which i can not to put there code in. It does not mater what provider i pick whether it is ATT, Directv or Directv Stream it always shown the same,
PC (Windows or Apple)? Phone (Android or Apple)? Code? No idea what the code is for! Who is "they"? On Roku, Fire Stick, etc. you just download the app from the Play Store. It's just an app, just like any other app that you might download. Provider you pick is based on the subscription service that you subscribe to - DirecTV, DirecTV Stream, Hulu. Netflix, etc.
Did you subscribe to the service via Roku or on the DirecTV Stream website?
Yes i have a max subscription thru Directv Stream. I use windows on pc. Android on phone. The problem is not with anything i am doing it is a problem on the Directv side! And there are other people having the same problem as me Directv stream said and they did not know how to fix it just that they are having people look in to it.
Well, I don't know what to tell you! I just finished installing the MAX app on my Chromebook, Windows 11 PC, Android Phone, and Lenovo tablet. They all installed successfully. Never asked for a code. Asked me to sign in with my TV Provider. Selected "DirecTV Stream". Sent me to AT&T to sign in with my credentials. Which I entered my credentials for DirecTV Stream. No issues. Content streams with no issues. Something Is not right with your account to get the Care Code 201 error code, which is a DirecTV Satellite error code.
Unfortunately, I am not at the right location to test the Roku device.

Now when i try to log in with Directv stream provider today it shows,
Can’t Verify Subscription
It looks like you don’t have access to Max through this provider.
If you think this is a mistake, please contact your provider directly. You can also try connecting through another provider.
I even tried Directv and AT&T provider.

And they finally got it fixed where i can log in about 30 min ago and it's all working now! It only took them almost 3 weeks to fix! lol
