Three-month free premium channel promotion

When I signed up for DirecTvStream, I was promised the free premium channels for three months. Five channels:  HBO Max, Showtime,Starz,Epix and Cinemax, all for three months.  After being on chat last Saturday for a very long time, the Loyalty Representative put HBOmax on my account for TWO months and Movies Extra Pack for three months. I have yet to see Movies Extra Pack in my listings.  But, that's not the problem. The problem is that I was promised THREE months of HBO Max, Showtime, Sstarz, Epix and Cinemax, and the Loyalty Rep could not help me with that.  She said she was escalating my concern to her higher-up, who would be able to add those to my account.  I was not allowed to speak to anyone above the Loyalty Rep, but she told me her supervisor could fix my problem and would be doing that within 24-48 hours.  It's been that long and more, and I have not heard from this higher up or seen any indication as to what the status of my quite reasonable request is.  It's only what I was promised when I signed up for your business.  Please respond. Thank you!!

Sorry, you’ve reached a public forum. We are customers just like you so we can’t see the status of your account, the current status of your complaint, etc. All we can suggest is calling DIRECTV STREAM (number in my greeting below) and saying ‘billing’ to be sent to the DIRECTV STREAM billing department.

Additionally, it’s overly important to check the status of your DIRECTV STREAM order when you first get the live TV streaming service. This way, you can verify what you signed up for and were promised.


If after many calls your issue isn’t resolved, a BBB complaint is a good idea.

It says the customer is required to select offer.  It doesn't say WHEN the customer has to select.
