Termination Fees

I originally signed up for the Direct Tv streaming service.  I did not activate the account.  I paid for 5 months before I realized they were deducting the monthly charge on my account.  I then cancelled the service and then was charged the $400 fee.  I do not feel that I owe any of  these charges since I never activated the account.
